Having a special outing planned can be an exciting reward for your children to look forward to.
Take a trip to the park, playground or beach.
Go for a swim at the local pool or at the seaside.
Go for a run or a lovely long hike in the bush – you could even pack up a healthy picnic if it’s a nice day.
Take a trip to the library, often there are story telling sessions for younger children, or you can just browse the books and choose a few favourites to take home.
