Kauri Point Historic Reserve, Katikati
This stunning walkway takes you from Kauri Point along the harbour's edge to Ongare Point.
Start the walk at the jetty end of Chelmsford street where you will find a carpark and public toilets. The jetty is an impressive sight, extending 200 metres into the harbour. The walkway takes you through the bush to the point, then connects to the Esplanade, the northern end of Chelmsford Street, and all the way to the end of Ongare Point Road. The return trip will take around 90 miutes.
