Freyberg Beach Playground, Wellington
This playground by the sea has sand, grass, swings, a rope jungle-gym and slide.
There's something for everyone at this playground by Oriental Bay beach. The younger kids can play on the swings and slide. Older kids will love the rope climbing jungle-gym. Afterwards, go for a paddle or swim at the sandy beach. There are nice changing rooms nearby. Then picnic on the grass, beach or giant concrete blocks.
