Before you start to play you will need to decide the area players can hide in. This can be outside, inside (choose one or more rooms) or a mixture of both.
Take turns being the ‘hider’ and the ‘seeker.’ The seeker closes their eyes and counts out loud to 30 (or lower for younger children) while the hider chooses a place within the agreed area to hide and stays there until they are found.
You will need at least one hider and at least one seeker to play. If you have more people, you can choose to have more hiders for the seeker to find, or more seekers.
