Move more, sit less

Being active can be fun. There are lots of options for children of all ages and activity levels. Help your children find an activity they enjoy so they love getting active from a young age.
  • Children and young people should be active for at least an hour each day.
  • Say no to screen time. School-aged children should spend less than two hours a day in front of televisions, computers or gaming consoles.
  • Under twos should not spend any time in front of the television, computer or game consoles.
